Tasber has had a successful career in Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Research & Development, where he managed budgets exceeding 3 million dollars, led a department of ~ 80 people and refined critical thinking and analytical abilities through decades of complex project oversight—skills that translate directly to addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the Town of Rush.

  Mike Tallon seeks re-election as Rush Town Justice. 

It has been his honor and privilege to serve as Town Justice since 2018. Mike began practicing law 46 years ago as an Assistant District Attorney in Erie County, with his first jury trial in Buffalo City Court in 1979. 

He was appointed Special Attorney in the Organized Crime & Racketeering Section of the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice serving in the Rochester Field Office during the 1980s.  

Since then, Mike, in private practice for well over 35 years, has represented people and businesses in both federal and state courts in both civil and criminal matters and before judges and juries.

He loves the Rush community, as does his wife Shirley Kucera, and their two Australian Shepherds, Brier and Maya. 

He looks forward to introducing himself to his Rush neighbors as he walks the Town this year leading to the General Election on Tuesday November 3rd.
